I was born and grew up in Washington state, near Seattle. After my high school graduationI moved across the country, to Pittsburgh for about a year and a half. I briefly studiedEnglish literature before I moved back to Washington. I finished my associates degree in Washington with an emphasis in art and transferred tothe University of Washington in Seattle. I was able to spend 4 months in Europe duringmy studies at the UW. I spent 3 months studying Art History in Rome, and spent about a month back-packing through 7 European countries (Spain, France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, Germany & England). The following year I spent spring break in Cancun, Mexico. I love to travel and experience other areas of the world! In 2004 I finished my studies at the UW with two degrees - a BFA in Painting, and a BA in Art History. I spent a year in Chicago, but have returned to the Seattle area. I am currently working on my MAT (Master of Arts in Teaching) at the University of Puget Sound. I will teach high school art.
